Commitment to sustainable living

Even small businesses can make a difference. Ascending Path's goal is to be a carbon neutral company in 2008. Here are some changes we are putting in place to reduce energy consumption in 2007:

• Using all compact fluorescent light bulbs
• Switching from a desktop to a silver rated energy efficient laptop computer
• Using energy efficient settings on office equipment and lighting
• Recycling all paper manuscripts and office supplies
• Using office materials with high post-consumer content
• Proper recycling and disposal of electronic waste
• Planting a tree a year as a carbon sink
